Nursing Education Center

The purpose of our initiative is not only to support the replenishment of Hungarian healthcare human resources, but also to implement a training program that keeps healthcare professionals on track, provides mental support and strengthens their professional awareness, which greatly supports raising the quality of patient care and improves the health status of the population.

Established in 2020 with the cooperation of Gál Ferenc University (GFU) and maintained by the Diocese of Szeged-Csanád, the final home of the Church Health Education Center will take place in the former Budagyongye Hospital building on Tarogató way in Budapest, after its renovation.

Until then, from 2021, our member, the St. Francis Hospital in Budapest, has started to organize and conduct professional trainings for nurses.

The mission and goals of the Church Health Education Center:

Organizing and operating professional training courses adapted to the labour demand of the Hungarian healthcare system.
Implementing high quality educational model, which can be planned and matched with career path.
Establishing nationwide available training facility, offering accommodation.
Providing housing for students during training and at the early years of their careers.
Preserving the long-term stability of the health care system by continuous development of domestic nursing education.
Developing and continuously improving training services.
Professional awareness pasting in the curriculum, emphasizing mental aspects of patient care and the importance of the way of patient treatment.
